Outdoor natural gas grill prize package awarded to commemorate the milestone
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – April 18, 2018 – To commemorate its 300,000th customer, Virginia Natural Gas is bringing the indoor comforts of natural gas to one lucky residential customer’s outdoor living space. Patti Huntington purchased a home in Virginia Beach last year and when making upgrades to her property, switched to natural gas service for its efficiency and cost savings.
Huntington’s name was selected from a random drawing of all residential customers who opened a new Virginia Natural Gas account in January, when Virginia Natural Gas exceeded 300,000 customers. She has been awarded a Weber Spirit 2 natural gas-fired outdoor grill and grill cover, complete with Virginia Natural Gas grilling spatula and apron. The prize package includes professional installation of a natural gas line to the grill by a member contractor of the Qualified Gas Contractors Association of Virginia.
“This was a total surprise and the whole family is really excited!” Huntington said of the newest addition to the household. “Switching to natural gas was an easy decision – it’s more affordable and efficient. Now we can bring the ease of indoor cooking to our outdoor living space.”
In April, Jim Kibler, president of Virginia Natural Gas, with the assistance of Taylor’s Do It Center, delivered the prizes to Huntington’s home to commemorate the 300,000th customer milestone.
