VNG Honors Veterans Through Flags In Tradition at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery

VNG Honors Veterans Through Flags In Tradition at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery

As part of our ongoing commitment to community and service, Virginia Natural Gas (VNG) proudly participated in the Flags In tradition at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia. This meaningful event, rooted in a national tradition that began in 1948 at Arlington National Cemetery, honors the memory of those who served by placing American flags at their final resting places.

VNG team members came together to place flags at thousands of gravesites across the cemetery. With each flag planted, we paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice and legacy of our nation’s heroes. Our participation reflects the heart of our Energy to Serve initiative—channeling our energy into actions that uplift and honor our community.
