Elevating communities is at the heart of Virginia Natural Gas, and that commitment was on full display as the company once again joined thousands of volunteers across the region for United Way’s annual Day of Caring events. This impactful initiative brings people together to support local nonprofits and uplift the communities they call home.
This year, dozens of VNG employees participated in several projects across the company’s service footprint, volunteering with the following organizations:

These events offered more than just volunteer opportunities, they provided a meaningful way for team members to live out the company’s values, connect with one another and create lasting change in the places they work and live. Whether supporting individuals with disabilities at VersAbility, assisting families at H.O.P.E. Village, nurturing early childhood education at Children’s Harbor or helping protect local waterways with the Elizabeth River Project, each project reflected VNG’s deep-rooted dedication to service.
Virginia Natural Gas employees are the driving force behind the company’s commitment to serving the community. Their willingness to roll up their sleeves, lend a hand and serve with heart makes initiatives like the United Way Day of Caring more impactful.
