Virginia Natural Gas employees participate in the United Way Day of Caring

Virginia Natural Gas employees participated in this year's United Way Day of Caring. The organizations supported this year were ForKids in Norfolk, Thrive on the Peninsula and the Virginia Beach SPCA in Virginia Beach.

VNG employees cleaned, organized and restocked family shelter shared spaces at ForKids. They turned over three garden beds, adding compost and planting fall crops at Thrive and worked outside in the Memorial Garden, weeding the garden beds, and picking up any trash to give the Virginia Beach SPCA a fall refresh. Employees also were involved in helping out the shelter with the kennel yards.

Overall, it was a very rewarding experience for a great cause. VNG can't wait to participate next year!
