Each May, our Energy to Serve campaign showcases our passion in action … Service. This year, Virginia Natural Gas (VNG) employees volunteered 150 hours to support and strengthen communities across Southeastern Virginia.
Here’s a snapshot of how our teams showed up and impacted 14,000 lives throughout the region:
VNG employees volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for a family in need, an effort made even more meaningful when the future homeowner stopped by to personally thank the team.
We also worked with Thrive Virginia to donate more than 250 books to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which were given to kids for free.
Employees kept our communities clean for kids by clearing trash from around a playground in Virginia Beach.
VNG supported Lakeland High School in Suffolk through a campus beautification project aimed at enhancing the school’s overall appearance and community pride.
While this is just a glimpse of the impact we’ve made within a month, our commitment to serving our community fuels us every day. To learn more about the difference we’ve made over the past year, explore our 2025 Community Impact Report.
