Virginia Natural Gas Shares ‘Energy to Give’ During Holiday Season
Virginia Natural Gas is spreading warmth, comfort, and joy to families in need through our ‘Energy to Give’ campaign. This holiday season we have partnered with several charitable organizations in the Hampton Roads area to make spirits bright.
Throughout November and December, VNG collected three truckloads of food for the area’s food bank and purchased gifts and other holiday wish list items for 70 Angels this year through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. This was a record-breaking year for VNG.
Our team members also volunteered at the Salvation Army Christmas Depot, serving as Santa’s helpers distributing Angel Tree gifts, helping families shop for presents, stocking shelves and keeping the shopping area clean and organized. In addition, the employees at our New Kent office partnered for their 3rd year with Hanover Safe Place to adopt a family of three through the organization’s holiday program. In January, we will be gifting 240 coats to the children of ForKids through Operation Warm.
